The Josiah Henson Museum of African-Canadian History will open on May 20th, in Dresden.
New signage will be erected on area highways, and while the name and address have changed, it is still
“Uncle Tom’s Cabin”‘

The new address is Freedom Road…as Chatham-Kent Council declared last year.
Uncle Tom’s Road is no longer on the map.
And the Museum change is in Name only.
Most of the population is in agreement.
A calendar of events is to be issued in the next couple of weeks.
